Privacy Policy
Afri-Ludo · Last updated September 8, 2026
This policy describes how Divint Technology Services LLC ("Divint", "we", "us")
handles information in the Afri-Ludo mobile application (the "App").
It applies to the App on iOS and Android.
In short: Afri-Ludo needs no account and never asks for your name,
email address, or phone number. Pass-and-play and games against the computer work
entirely on your device. Online matches use an anonymous guest identity. Ads and
optional purchases are the only places third parties are involved.
Information we collect
- Anonymous guest identity. When you host or join an online match,
the App creates an anonymous sign-in with our backend provider (Supabase). This is a
random identifier stored on your device so you can return to a match after closing
the App. It is not linked to your name, email, or any other account.
- Online match data. For online games we store the match setup, the
moves and dice rolls, and which seat each guest identity holds, so all players see
the same game and can rejoin it. This data contains no personal details.
- Settings and progress, on your device only. Your rule toggles,
sound and vibration preferences, in-game Cowries balance, cosmetics, and purchase
state are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to us.
- Advertising identifiers. The App shows ads through Google AdMob
between matches. With your permission (via the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt
or the consent form shown in the App), AdMob may use your device's advertising
identifier to show personalized ads. If you decline, you still see ads, just
non-personalized ones.
- Purchase records. If you buy Remove Ads or a cosmetic, the
purchase is processed by Apple or Google. We receive a confirmation that the purchase
happened; we never see your payment details.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, precise location, photos,
or microphone audio. The App has no chat.
- Cowries, the in-game currency, cannot be bought with real money and have no cash
value. They are earned by playing and by choosing to watch optional ads.
Third-party services
The App relies on the following processors, each governed by its own privacy policy:
Your choices & rights
- Ads: change your tracking choice anytime in your device settings
(iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking) or via the "Ad privacy
options" row in the App's Settings. You can also remove the banners and the
between-match ads with the one-time Remove Ads purchase.
- Report an ad: use the "Report an ad" row in the App's Settings, or
email us, if an ad is inappropriate.
- Guest identity and match data: deleting the App removes the guest
identity from your device. To have match records tied to your guest identity deleted
from our backend, email us from the device you played on and we will help identify and
remove them within 30 days.
- Depending on where you live (e.g. EEA/UK GDPR, California CCPA), you may have
rights to access, correct, or delete your data — contact us to exercise them.
Children
The App is a family board game suitable for general audiences. It does not knowingly
collect personal information from children under 13, and it asks for no personal
details from anyone. Ads are configured for a general-audience content rating.
Data retention & security
Online match records are kept while a match is in progress and for a limited period
afterward for rejoining and dispute checks, then deleted. Data is stored on Supabase
infrastructure in the United States and protected by industry-standard access controls
and encryption in transit.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when the policy changes and revise the "last updated" date above.
